ECC School
Our own campus in Po Village. 18 classes across 10 levels, from kindergarten and preschool through to adult classes, with a focus on job skills for adult and older teenage students.
ECC School offers free English classes at its own campus and provides volunteer English teachers to two more local schools in Siem Reap Province.
Our primary campus is the ECC School campus, where volunteers are fortunate enough to be able to offer a personalised education to over 100 students. There are 18 classes offered at ECC, divided into 10 levels that follow an ESL curriculum based on the UK framework — adapted so that all vocabulary is relevant to Cambodia and supports future education and career paths here.

Partnered with ECC in September 2016. We teach six English classes a day there, each with 40–50 students aged 7–14, following a curriculum designed by a qualified native English teacher.
A partnership with another local elementary school in the village, offering the same principles and values the school has grown from.
On arriving at the school, future students — and where relevant their parents — have an informal discussion with the Teaching Co-Ordinator about what they want from studying English.
A formal assessment of prior learning follows, and the decision about which class or classes suit them best is made together with the student.
Seventy-five percent of students in Cambodia leave school by fourteen to seek employment. The curriculum is designed so that every student graduates with the vocabulary and grammar to find work in tourism and hospitality.
No teaching qualification is required — experienced volunteers pair with you for your first lessons.
